Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of LookToSpace, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and understood these terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are using LookToSpace on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

Description of Service

LookToSpace provides launch visibility information based on your location and publicly available launch schedule data. Features include upcoming launch listings with distance and bearing from your location, countdown timers, weather-at-launch summaries, viewing guidance, and optional email alerts for launches near you.

Some features are available free of charge. Additional features are available through a Pro subscription as described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to change, add, or remove features at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use LookToSpace only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws. The following are not permitted.

• Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading of launch data or any site content.
• Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing data obtained from LookToSpace.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data.
• Using the service in any way that disrupts, damages, or impairs its operation.
• Impersonating another person or entity, or providing false information to create an account.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Choose a strong password and do not share your login details with others.

Notify us immediately at hello@looktospace.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account if you failed to take reasonable steps to protect your credentials.

Pro Subscription and Billing

LookToSpace Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

By subscribing, you authorise LookToSpace to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. Tax may be added depending on your location.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing; your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Refund Policy

Annual plans: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase at hello@looktospace.com and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.

Monthly plans: monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and your access will continue until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

Refunds for circumstances outside this policy (for example, partial-period refunds or refunds after 30 days on an annual plan) are at our sole discretion.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Launch schedules, times, and windows are sourced from publicly available data and are provided as-is. Rocket launches are subject to frequent scrubs, delays, holds, and cancellations for reasons including weather, technical issues, range conflicts, and regulatory requirements. A launch that is scheduled today may not happen for days or weeks.

Visibility estimates depend on your location, the flight path, atmospheric conditions, and other variables that cannot be predicted with certainty. A launch may be visible from your area but obscured by clouds, haze, or terrain. Our weather forecasts are sourced from third-party providers and reflect conditions at your location, not along the entire flight path.

LookToSpace makes no guarantee that any given launch will be visible from your location, that it will launch at the listed time, or that our viewing guidance will result in a successful observation. All information is provided for general informational purposes only.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LookToSpace and its operators are not liable for any missed launches, travel or accommodation costs incurred based on launch information from this site, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of information.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims related to the service exceed the amount you paid to LookToSpace in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

Intellectual Property

All content on LookToSpace — including the design, interface, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to LookToSpace. Launch data is sourced from The Space Devs and weather data from Open-Meteo under their respective terms. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the site without our written permission.

Termination

You may stop using LookToSpace and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in conduct that harms other users or the service, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice.

On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including the accuracy disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law sections) will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of LookToSpace will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email. Your continued use of LookToSpace after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
