LookToSpace vs Cosmik
Choose Cosmik if you want to explore the sky on a live map or follow satellites. Choose LookToSpace if your first question is whether a rocket launch will clear the horizon from your US location, and which way to face.
A launch time tells you when the rocket leaves the pad. LookToSpace also estimates when it climbs above your horizon. That can be several minutes later for a distant viewer.

Check the view before you head out
LookToSpace estimates naked-eye launch visibility from US locations using your distance, the Earth's curvature, a representative ascent and daylight conditions. It is not live rocket telemetry. Buildings, terrain, cloud and changes to the flight path can block a view the model expects.
Read the visibility method and its limits, or enter your location in the free finder.
Accuracy, alerts and pricing
Does a visibility estimate guarantee I will see the launch?
We do not yet publish a measured match rate against real sightings. They model the rocket’s path above a clear horizon; clouds, terrain and changes to the flight path can change what you see.
What happens if the launch is scrubbed?
Check the schedule again before heading out. Free launch email alerts include a reschedule note. Pro adds push and SMS alerts. A Trip Pass lasts seven days; if every launch at your saved location slips out of that window, email hello@looktospace.com for a free extension.
Can I check my view without paying?
Yes. Enter your US ZIP or city in the free LookToSpace finder for a visibility tier, distance and compass direction. Free area email alerts need your email and a location. Pro adds exact bearings, minute-by-minute viewing times, weather and launch-day texts for $19.99/year or $4.99/month. A seven-day Trip Pass costs $5 once.
